WORSHIP

The music and worship ministry at First Baptist Jackson provides spiritual direction and guidance to the worship life of our church. Hundreds of members lead various styles of worship in all of our life stages throughout the FBJ family. From ages three through Senior Adults, you can find them singing, playing instruments, leading choirs and bands across campus.The morning worship service is broadcast locally and live streamed worldwide each Sunday. Special programs such as Carols by Candlelight serve as community events to the Jackson Metropolitan area as well. Take a look at the many ways you can connect in music and worship by scrolling below.

Sing with Us this Easter Season

Rehearsals: March 26, April 2, 9, & 16
Services: April 13 and April 20 

This Easter season, the FBJ Worship Ministry is inviting anyone interested to sing with the choir. This opportunity includes four Wednesday rehearsals and singing in three services: morning worship and Night of Worship services on Palm Sunday (April 13) and the 10:30 a.m. service on Easter Sunday (April 20). WORSHIP CHOIR & ORCHESTRA

There is a place for you in the Worship Choir and Orchestra. These groups play key roles in leading our congregation in praise and worship each Sunday morning. They also present special worship and evangelistic concerts throughout the year. 

WEEKLY REHEARSALS
Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.
Choir meets in Choir Rehearsal Room (second floor)
Orchestra meets in the Sanctuary

REFLECTIONS CHOIR

This unique choir welcomes folks of all ages as it meets each Thursday. As opportunities arise, the Reflections choir performs at various worship services, clubs, nursing facilities, senior adult rallies, and various other events. Each November, Thankful Christmas is the annual highlight of this choir as they minister to more than 500 senior adults through song and worship of hymns of thanksgiving and Christmas tunes celebrating the birth of Christ.

ACADEMY OF ARTS

The First Baptist Jackson Academy of Arts was established as a way to reclaim the arts for Christ. Instruction in all forms of art available.
