The Hope and Resilience Luncheon will bring FBJ women hope, strength, and encouragement featuring the Behind the Fine story of special guest Christi Gibson.
Christi Gibson’s thirty-year marriage ended abruptly with the suicide of her husband and the loss of the life she’d built and safe-guarded. Now, years later, she shares her “Behind the Fine” story to strengthen and encourage women to live abundantly in more open confessional community. She has written three books: His Hope Remains, Your Story Matters, and Stir Up the Gift. God may use her story to profoundly enhance the way you approach life every day.

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in tangible ways to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations!
Join us in sharing the Good News by packing shoeboxes this season!
You can support Operation Christmas Child in several ways.
1. You may pick up shoeboxes starting Sunday, October 29, in the second-floor atrium and pack them! They will need to be returned on Sunday, November 12, to Fellowship Hall East between 8:30-9:15 a.m.
2. You may collect shoebox items and bring to church on Sunday, November 12, to Fellowship Hall East and pack shoeboxes with your purchased items!
We will have a culminating Operation Christmas Child party in Fellowship Hall East on Sunday, November 12, from 8:30-9:15 a.m.! Bring your packed shoeboxes or your purchased items to pack shoeboxes during this time. We will have hot chocolate, coffee, and donuts for everyone to enjoy before Sunday School!

This fall Grace Bible Study will use Revelation: Eternal King, Everlasting Kingdom by Jen Wilkin. Women are invited to join as we grow our faith through God’s Word and enjoy fellowship with other women. Grace Bible Study welcomes women of all ages.
About the Study
Revelation shouldn’t leave us fearful or confused, but its imagery and concepts often confound our modern ears. If all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable, though, we should assume Revelation is as accessible and helpful as any other book of the Bible. Study Revelation verse-by-verse to discover how the last book of the Bible is accessible, helpful, and speaks a steadying word of assurance and endurance to the church in every age.
