On October 5, the FBJ Family will spread out around Jackson to serve alongside many of our ministry partners in a variety of projects. Many projects are great opportunities for families to serve together. Make plans to be a part of this day as go out to bring Joy to Jackson.
Mission First Fun Day

Volunteers will help set up for the event, be available to welcome the attendees, and help serve in multiple roles as needed during this Fun Day event for more than 400 adults and children. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes!
FBJ Parking Lot Clean Up

The team will work in the Churches’ parking lots, spreading pine straw in planting beds where dead shrubs and plants have been removed.

This Project will include some basic chainsaw works and collecting and removing brush and tree limbs from the areas around the buildings and carrying these items to designated burn sites.

Craft Table at We Will Go Fall Fest

Volunteers will provide a craft table for elementary school kids and younger kids during the We Will Go Fall Fest.

Painting in Restoration Center

The Restoration Center that will house ministries focused on providing activities for at-risk youth in South Jackson; training and ministry for single moms, vocational training for at-risk young adults and youth, etc.
The goal of this project is to paint between five and ten rooms for use as classrooms, training rooms, etc. No experience in painting is needed.
