We are a class of single adults, ages 48 to 62, that study the Word, worship, and fellowship together.
A Peek Into Our Group...
What Makes Us Unique
We genuinely care for each other and provide support through prayer, time, and resources if situations arise. In-depth Bible study is valued by the members of our class, along with opportunities that provide quality social interaction.
What We Study on Sunday Mornings
Our in-depth Bible study material is taken directly from the Bible. The teaching style is lecture and interactive. Our teacher asks for input from class members about the topic or book of the Bible to be studied then prays over the suggestions that are offered to make the final decision. Teaching topics/books change every three to four months.
Outside of Class
Our class has a variety of class fellowships throughout the year that allows us to enjoy fun and laughter in a casual setting. We enjoy playing volleyball, frisbee, or croquet while barbecuing in the park, boating on the pontoon boat at the reservoir, hiking in the spring or fall, and of course we always enjoy potluck at someone's home or meal at a restaurant. Class members are also encouraged to participate in the "all singles events" planned by the Single Adult Council a few times a year. Those events are varied each year and may include such things as day trips to New Orleans, Honey Island Swamp tour, Coffee Connection, Fusion Bible Study and Fellowship, etc.
