The Special Ministries of First Baptist Jackson ensures that people with special needs have a safe place to learn about Jesus Christ. Loving volunteers joyfully lead our students to worship together through Bible stories, learning God’s word, music, crafts, prayer request, and fellowship.

"The Special Ministries Program at First Baptist Jackson has truly been special to my family for over 30 years. They have provided a place for my autistic son to attend church which allowed my family to attend church. I have always felt that the workers in this program are the truly the 'special' ones giving of themselves in such an unselfish manner. I didn't choose to have a son with special needs, but they made a choice to love him and others like him. There's gotta be a special place in Heaven for these workers." -- Mike Pigford
